Where are the rest
Of the X Clues at?
I talked about X with about a dozen people over the past day or two. Some of these people are fellow X enthusiasts who are already in on the mystery. But others are friends and acquaintences who have seen the Clues on campus and around town.
After talking with everyone, I put out a few more copies of the first 5 Clues. Some Clues are in boring spots like bulletin boards, but others are in random spots on campus and around town. To spice it up a bit, I folded a few of the Clues into curious shapes. Now that we're starting to generate some buzz, a few of my fellow X enthusiasts will be spreading flyers and other Clues too. And YOU can feel free to snag a Clue yourself and make copies to repost or share.
So, what is X? X is... still a mystery! Find more Clues, and we'll learn more about it together. In the meantime, I can say this: we're introducing X in this way because X itself is something playful, exciting, mysterious, and powerful. It starts with little Clues and online messages, but as it evolves over the next couple of weeks, it will become a face-to-face encounter unlike anything you've ever seen.
Are you ready? Find the Clues, and all will be revealed...
The Others
I check the site daily to see if any others have submited clues or left messages but so far no luck. Perhaps the site scares them away...I must admit after reading what X was about my first thought was possible Cult. The way the site is worded I think others will get that impression also.

A Group for Free Thinkers
I can see your point, especially since the first Clue you started exploring was #4, which is almost certainly the most controversial. But X is a group for free thinkers -- people with inquisitive minds who question everything and embrace their freedom and independence. We'll be having our first big public event once more of the Clues are discovered, so you can decide for yourself once you actually meet us and see firsthand what we're all about.
Part of the reason why we're using Clues to start X is to show off some of the playful spirit of the group. In this spirit, the second batch of Clues will involve something fun, interactive, and face-to-face. But another reason we're using Clues is because we want the group itself to be defined by the people who come to it. We've got a specific focus that the Clues are revealing... but once you've found the Clues, you get to help choose how we will make X a reality.
We don't have all the answers, so we want to find other curious, open-minded, creative people to help breathe life into X. Yes, it takes some courage to venture into the unknown -- but that courage is part of what X is all about. We know that it's not for everyone... but if you like what the Clues talk about, then you're sure to love X.
Speaking of Clues, we've got a few dozen more copies of the first 4 clues hitting the streets this weekend. There are more people distributing the Clues now, so expect them to start showing up in new places. In the meantime, newcomers to the site can either post their Clues or discuss the ones that are currently listed. As momentum builds, it will all become clear...
